What this site is

Reedwright publishes informational records about flameless home-fragrance carriers: reed diffusers, wax tablets, scent plaques, sachets, porous ceramic stones and textile mists. Records are written from measured set-ups and from the published specifications of the carriers themselves.

Information, not professional advice

Nothing here is professional advice. Fragrance and essential oil concentrations must stay within the manufacturer's IFRA and CLP limits, and any space with a pet, a small child or a pregnant occupant should be checked against the carrier safety sheet before a plan is used.

Room measurements are given as ranges and drawn from typical domestic set-ups. Your room may differ, and the refill calculator is an approximation of a measured baseline rather than a simulation of your home.

Fire and safety

Every carrier in this register is flameless: no flame, no wick, no plug and no battery. This site does not cover candles, burners, wax melts used over a heat source, or any format that requires ignition, and no plan here should be adapted into one.

Base liquids for reed diffusers are flammable until they have evaporated. Keep every carrier clear of open flame, heaters and direct sun, and out of reach of children and animals.

Accuracy and changes

Records are revised when a measurement changes or a carrier's specification is updated. A record carries the date it was published; a later revision keeps that date and adds the change. We do not silently rewrite published numbers.

Intellectual property

The text, the figures and the tables on this site belong to Reedwright. You may quote a passage with a link back to the record it came from. You may not republish a whole record, or a set of them, as your own content.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as it stands. To the extent permitted by law, Reedwright is not liable for damage to property, textiles or surfaces arising from the use of a carrier, from a plan followed in a room that differs from the one measured, or from a product whose formulation changed after publication.
