Reedwright keeps a register of flameless home-fragrance carriers and the rooms they are asked to work in. It exists because almost every guide to home fragrance answers the wrong question: how much oil to use, rather than what the room actually does with it.

The two axes
Every record sits on a grid. One axis is the room: its volume, how often its air is replaced, whether the door stays shut, who lives in it. The other axis is the rung — L1 through L4 — which describes what the room reads like from the doorway, not how much fragrance went in.
Rooms come first because they are the part that does not change. A carrier that performs well in a 24 m2 living room with a window open twice a day can be the wrong choice in an 18 m2 bedroom with the door shut for nine hours.
What a record contains
Each plan states the room conditions it was written for, the carrier and its specification, the number of units, how long one fill lasted, how often it needed topping up, and what it cost per month to keep running. Each carrier dossier states its medium, its release mechanism, where it wins and where it fails. Each rung card states the coverage band, the detection distance and the three failure signs worth knowing.
Publication on a date
Records carry the date they go live, and they go live on that date — not all at once. Rebuilding the site on a later day publishes whatever has come due and nothing else. A record dated in the future is not listed, not linked and not in the sitemap; asking for it returns a 404.
Figures are generated, not drawn
The dot fields on each record are generated from that record's own numbers: the rung sets the spacing and the dot radius, the covered area sets the width of the zone, and the room's air class produces the second, attenuated field shown beside the first. Nothing on the site is stock photography, and nothing is decorative.
What is not here
No candles, no wicks, no burners and no pouring temperatures — the whole ignition branch belongs elsewhere. No sponsored placements, no affiliate links and no advertising partners inside the register. No accounts, no comments and no newsletter.
